Dr. Amy Schefler transitioning to Eye Cancer Associates of Texas (ECAT)
Dr. Amy Schefler, one of our senior retina specialists and an ocular oncologist, will be transitioning to a new practice within the RCA family called Eye Cancer Associates of Texas (ECAT) here in Houston. Her practice can be found at: https://www.eyecancerassociatesoftexas.com. Her last day with Retina Consultants of Texas will be Friday, July 31, 2026. Highly accomplished and dedicated, Dr. Schefler has been an invaluable member of our team, advancing our research efforts and providing exceptional patient care.
While we’ll miss working with Dr. Schefler, we’re grateful that she will remain part of our broader partner network through Eye Cancer Associates of Texas and will continue to care for the patients with ocular tumors in the Houston area and beyond. She will also continue collaborating with RCA in support of our shared mission to fight blindness. We wish her the best of luck!
