Dr. Moises A. Chica and Dr. Sarah E. Holy are Retiring

Dear valued patients and referring physicians,

Two of our exceptional retina specialists, Dr. Moises A. Chica and Dr. Sarah E. Holy, are both retiring on June XX, 2026. Dr. Chica has specialized in the management of retinal diseases and vitreoretinal surgery in San Antonio since 2007, taking great care of his patients while advancing the field through his ongoing involvement in clinical research trials. Dr. Holy joined Retina Consultants of Texas in 2010, where she has dedicated herself to personalized patient care and has also actively participated in clinical research trials to develop new and advanced treatments for retinal conditions.

The physician partners at Retina Consultants of Texas will continue to provide world-class retinal care to the patients of Dr. Chica and Dr. Holy. All of our physicians are board-certified ophthalmologists with advanced specialty training in retina and vitreous conditions. Patients who previously received care from Dr. Chica or Dr. Holy will be redirected to our other doctors. We understand that switching physicians can be challenging, and we will do everything possible to ensure a smooth transition. Thank you for your continued trust in Retina Consultants of Texas.
